A memorial for our friend Gene Remo was held on April 27, 2008 at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix.
Gene was retired from the Air Force and they provided a Color Guard with a flag presentation to his daughter Dee Dee followed by a rifle salute.
The service was led by Chaplin Ken Bowers. The bagpipes were played by George Walker.
Gene's son Tony and daughter Dee Dee took the Roadster around the track for one last lap.
There was an escorted cruise back to Genes home.
